Elouise Elizabeth Armstrong

June 11, 1943 — March 4, 2026

Elouise Armstrong - known and loved by so many simply as MawMaw - left this world at the beautiful age of 82, taking with her a laugh that could fill any room and a warmth that never let anyone feel like a stranger. She didn't just welcome people into her life - she pulled them in, held them close, and made them feel like they'd always belonged there.

MawMaw had a style all her own. Fashionable, cool, and utterly one of a kind - nobody could replicate it, and nobody dared to try. Her favorite color was yellow, and it suited her perfectly. Like that color, she was bright, radiant, and impossible to ignore, especially when she flashed that smile.

Her laugh was contagious. Her humor was real. And yes - she loved a good story. But those who knew her best knew something just as true: MawMaw could keep a secret. She had your heart, and she guarded it.

She was a proud supporter of The Flames, a biker club and longstanding pillar of the community - a group that reflected exactly who she was: bold, loyal, and deeply rooted. And in quieter moments, you'd find her tending to her beloved plants, nurturing them with the same gentle care she gave everyone around her, and sharing cuttings so others could grow something beautiful too.

Elouise is proceeded in death by her Mother: Johnsie B Adams; Father: Floyd J Huett; Sister: Peggy Aikens and Grandson: Dresan Armstrong.

Elouise leaves behind her Sister: Joyce Miller; her Children: Sharon Huett, Andre Armstrong, Tonya Dozier (Married to Kenneth Dozier), Maurice Jackson, and Stacy Jackson along with a treasured circle of Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great-Grandchildren; who carry pieces of her in everything they do and Dear Friends.

She was more than family. She was the kind of person the world remembers - not for titles or accolades, but for the way she loved. Freely, Fully, Stylishly and always with a laugh ready to follow.

MawMaw, the yellow light you brought into this world doesn't go out.
It just spreads.
