Fred Orville Thomas was born August 12, 1963 in Columbus Ohio and was peacefully called home in his sleep on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Grant Medical Center from a long-term battle of complications from stroke.
He was the First-Born son to Evelyn Trent and Ralph Thomas. He Attended Marion - Franklin High School and made his life a home in the Stambaugh Area where he grew up and later married Anita Thomas.
Being the 2nd child of 5 siblings, Fred took on hard work at an early age where his first job was at AAMCO working on cars , from there, Fred leaned into multiple opportunities in hard labor where he spent many years as a roadway construction worker alongside his younger brother, Felix as well as pallet hunting.
He enjoyed outings such as hunting and fishing with his friends. Fred loved having a good time and he also loved being home, that's where his peace was.
Fred was Preceded in death by his parents: Evelyn Trent and Ralph Thomas and special parent, Clyde Sales; sisters: Tina McSwain and Rebecca Trent and his beloved son, Fred Thomas.
He is survived by his Twin Sibling: Felicia and Felix (Kim) Trent; his Daughters: Kristen Thomas and LaToya Smith and a host of many Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
