Born on June 14, 1976, in Columbus, Ohio, Freddy was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend. He was a proud graduate of the Columbus City Schools.
Fredrick dedicated his professional life to Amsted Rail, where he thrived. His enthusiasm for his work was evident as he often shared the joy he found in his role with his fiancée, Tania Lindsay. Freddy's life was enriched by his passions, which included boxing at Sawyer and Blackburn recreation centers when he was growing up, as well as enjoying fitness, shooting pool, attending family bingo nights, and going bowling.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Ethen Johnson; his grandmother, Winifred Robinson; his uncle, Paul Johnson and Franklin Robinson, and his aunts, Joann Johnson and Tina Johnson. He also mourns the loss of his son, Frederick Johnson III.
Fredrick is survived by his father, Fredrick Johnson Sr.; his siblings, Kimberly (Dante) Carter, Karen Blake, Sunni Johnson, Solomon Johnson, and Ricardo Johnson; lifelong friends/brothers, Stan H., and Leslie C.; aunts, Debra Robinson and Tracey Robinson; uncle, Joe (Cheryl) Johnson; many cherished nieces and nephews, including Trevon, Sharif, Darren, Karen (Brandon) Watson, Latasha, Larica, Donericka, and Richard; dear friends, Moneka Mitchell; favorite cousins, Joseph and April and numerous other family members who loved him deeply.
Freddy's sons, Jamal and Ethan Johnson and Ryan Johnson, were his pride and joy, the very reason he cherished life.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
