Gary Edmond Chilton

Gary E. Chilton was born in Warren, Ohio on May 9,1962. He was the beloved son of Charles and Mattie Chilton. Gary passed away on March 6, 2026 at his home with family.

Gary was a proud graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School's class of 1980. After graduation he joined the United States Army where he proudly served his country and traveled the world for 13 years. Gary was a security guard for over 30 years after discharge from active duty.

If you knew Gary, he was known for his charm and charisma. If you were honored to know him back in the day, you knew when you saw him in his LA Lakers coat, that he was fly. Gary loved sports. Some of his favorite teams were the San Francisco 49ers, and USC. Gary's greatest moments were the times he spent with his two (2) youngest grandchildren.

Gary's memories will forever live on as he leaves to mourn his wife of 25 years, Marla Chilton; son, Tommie (Latreechia) Harris; daughters, Brooklyn Page, MaLaina (David) Chilton and M'Kya Chilton; four (4) grandchildren, Breazia and Keshawn Harris, Airess Reign and Masiah Alexander; sister, Peggy Griffin; and brothers, Anthony and Andre Chilton.

Gary's final sunset reunites him with his parents, one sister, and four brothers in Heaven. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
