George Sullivan Carpenter, Jr. was born on July 24, 1954 in Sacred Heart Hospital and lived until his teenage years with his parents, older sister and twin brothers in Penllyn, Pennsylvania.
Georgie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Penllyn, Pennsylvania. He received his formal education in the Wissahickon School District. After graduation, he joined the United States Army and served three years in Germany.
He also was a part-time art student at the Ohio State University.
Georgie loved spending time with his family and friends on weekends watching Philadelphia sports, baseball, basketball, but particularly the Eagles Football Team. His inspiration in art followed him throughout his adult life even though music dominated his life's passion. Georgie's radiant smile would brighten the entire room.
Georgie Carpenter departed this life on Thursday, April 9, 2026.

Georgie is survived by his twin younger Brothers: Aaron and Anthony Carpenter; two Nephews: Gary and Kevin Tyler; his Significant Other: Donna Wilson; Adopted Daughter: Gracia; Step-Sons: Curtis, Michael and Trevor; Grandchildren: Geovanni and Mary.
