Obituary of Gloria Gann
Gloria Gann passed away peacefully at the age of 71 on June 22, 2026. She was born on January 14, 1955, in Wagram, North Carolina, and later moved to Columbus, Ohio as a young girl, where she built a life filled with love, family, and cherished traditions.
Gloria was a devoted homemaker, a loving wife, and a nurturing mother. She was a proud graduate of Central High School and previously served her community as a nurse's aide at Regency Manor.
To know Gloria was to know her unwavering passion for the Dallas Cowboys. A true and loyal fan, she never missed a game and proudly cheered, "We Dem Boyz!" Sundays in her home were a beloved tradition, filled with excitement, laughter, and her undeniable team spirit.
Beyond her love for football, Gloria was deeply devoted to her family. She was a cherished wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend who found immense joy in caring for others. Known for her thoughtfulness, she rarely forgot a birthday or special occasion and was always there when someone needed her. She especially treasured her role as a dependable and loving babysitter to many of her family members.
Gloria was preceded in death by her devoted husband of nearly 50 years, William Gann Sr.; her mother, Onetha Johnson; her mother-in-law, Marie Gann; her father-in-law, William R. Gann; her sisters, Geneva Wall (Willie), Carolyn McKayhan, and Barbara Johnson; her sisters-in-law, Eileen Broadus and Brenda Jackson; her brother, Randy Ferguson; and her brothers-in-law, Ray Broadus and Thomas Russell.
She leaves to cherish her memory to her son, William "Billy" Gann Jr.; her sister, Dorthy Livingston; her brother-in-law, Willie Wall; her sisters-in-law, Darlene Russell and Norma Broadus; her nieces, Sandy Fredrick, Belinda Broadus, Serena Gann, and Alicia Gann; and her nephews, Chris Wall, James Wall, Willie Wall Jr., Kelvin Wall, John Fredrick, Brent Jackson, Craig Jackson (Sandra), Raymond Broadus (Lila), Kevin Broadus, Charles Russell, and Thomas Russell (Shalonda), along with a host of other loving family members and dear friends.
Gloria's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.
