Ja'Shon Tamir Cobbs

Ja'Shon Tamir Cobbs, age 18, was born on August 17, 2007. He departed this life on August 7, 2026, leaving behind cherished memories and a lifetime of love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Ja'Shon was a beloved son, brother, grandson, family member, and friend. He was known for his intelligence, energetic personality, and the unique presence he brought into the lives of those around him.

Ja'Shon was the cherished son of Lashonta Hairston (Donovan Beaty) and Leonard Cobbs III (Angel Ezell). He was deeply loved by both of his parents, and the love they shared for their son will remain in their hearts forever.

He leaves to cherish his memory his Sisters: Ranai, Malaysia, Na'Liyah, Leniyah, Breanna, Aaliyah, and Imani; his Brother: Leonard; Maternal Grandparents: Tammy Hairston and Elbert Joiner; Paternal Grandparents: Denise Howell and Leonard Cobbs Jr.; his Girlfriend: Asia Dean and a host of loving family members and friends.

Ja'Shon attended Columbus Africentric High School and graduated from The Academy of Urban Scholars. Ja'Shon, also known by his loved ones as "Doobie", was super athletic and energetic, extremely talented at everything from flipping to drumming and rapping. He was employed at Courtyard by Marriott.

Though Ja'Shon's life was far too short, the memories he created and the love he shared will never be forgotten. His family will forever treasure his presence, his laughter, his personality, and the many moments that made him who he was.

Ja'Shon will forever remain in the hearts of his mother and father, his siblings, grandparents, family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
