JaVanie Akeem Anderson

Sep 13, 1997 — Jun 16, 2026

JaVanie Anderson was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He was a proud graduate of Beechcroft High School and was known by many for his funny personality, caring heart, strong work ethic, and respectful spirit.

JaVanie brought joy to those around him with his laughter, kindness, and unwavering loyalty. He was a loving person, a loyal friend, and someone who never hesitated to show love and support to those around him. He had a kind heart, a genuine spirit, and a great sense of humor that made him loved by family, friends, and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was the type of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need and never missed an opportunity to show love to his family and friends. His warm heart, infectious smile, and ability to make others feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

The same love, dedication, and joy that JaVanie showed to others could also be seen in the things he was passionate about, especially bowling.

Bowling was one of JaVanie's greatest passions, and many would agree that he was one of the best bowlers around. Whether competing or simply enjoying time with friends, he always brought energy, skill, and a smile to the lanes. He also shared a special bond with his beloved dogs, King, GloRilla, and Pepsi, who meant the world to him.

JaVanie leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving Mother: Verbena Anderson; his Sisters: Sharay Taylor and Kennea Evans; his Nana: Aretha Anderson; his Nieces: Taliyah Saunders and Ticarah Saunders; his Uncles: Jarra Anderson and Renaldo Simons; along with a host of father figures, mentors, cousins, close friends, and loved ones who helped shape his life and will forever cherish his memory.

Though JaVanie's time on earth was far too short, the love he gave, the lives he touched, and the memories he created will live on forever. His laughter will echo in our hearts, and his spirit will remain with us always.

Rest Easy, JaVanie.
