Joseph “Joe” Carter III

Joseph “Joe” Carter III, 60, of Vineland, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025. Joe was born on February 9, 1965, in Vineland to the late Joseph Carter Jr. and his mother, Dianna Ridgeway.

Joe was a devoted father, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was a long-time truck driver, dedicated to his work and providing for his family. Beyond the miles he traveled, Joe will be remembered for his warm personality, kind heart, and the way he made everyone around him feel valued and loved.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Carter Jr. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving mother, Dianna Ridgeway; his daughter, Latisha Burris; his grandchildren, Makilah, Ranijah, and Hezekiah; his sisters, Jacquelyn Thompson and Josette Carter; his brothers, Joseph (Linda) Pierce and Ronald Hughes; as well as a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Joe’s life was one of love, hard work, family, and faith. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched with his generosity and kindness.
