Justin Lee Hawkins

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Justin Lee Hawkins, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Born on October 29, 1986, He was born to Nicole Hawkins and Tyrone Thompson Jr., Lovingly raised by Yvonne Hawkins and the late Kim Cudgel. Justin had a passion for freestyle rapping, audio speaker systems and fixing things. Whether he was dropping a verse, turning a wrench, or helping someone with a repair, he brought creativity, skill, and joy to everything he did. Justin was affectionately known as Jay or Flocka to his many family and friends. Justin lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family. He departed this life on October 4, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of strength, kindness, and compassion.

Justin was the husband of Amber Hawkins and the proud father of five children: Jaleel Allen, Jayden Hawkins, Jayanna Hawkins, Jahiem Hawkins and Jah’lani Hawkins. His greatest joy came from being a father, and he poured his heart into raising and supporting his children.

Justin shared a close bond with his siblings: Brothers: Justin (Takesha) Palmer, Tyrone Thompson, Dartanian Hawkins, Rodney Burress, Elijahjuan Williams, Nicholas Burress and Maximillian Williams. Sisters: Stacy Thompson, Alisha Hawkins, Terri Fleming, and Teria Hawkins. He was a loyal brother and a source of strength and laughter to his family.

Justin is preceeded in deatth by his aunt Tonya Lynn Thompson

He leaves behind his Grandparents: Jeanett Hawkins, Robert Simmons and Katrinka (Lamar) Baxter and the late Tyrone Thompson, Sr.: Aunts: Bobbie (Richard), Jeanette, Tammy (Eddy), Tamieka, Katrinka, Kareema (Lavado), Santina.: Uncles: Cassius (Shantell), William, Terrence, Antoine (Leeanna), Arne, Ronnie, Juan, Roshawn, Patrick (Evelyn).: Special Friends: Kieara Johnson, Dajuan Brigham, Jonathan Lighty and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever remember his generous spirit, infectious smile, and kind heart.
