Kalima Dakara Jackson was born on February 22, 1965, to John and Nonia Jackson in Mansfield, OH. Kalima departed from this life on March 18, 2026 from a sudden natural cause.
Kalima was very family oriented, loved music, loved to laugh and loved fashion. She was very nurturing, head strong and outspoken. She most definitely left her mark on anyone she met.
Kalima was preceded in death by her father: John Jackson; sister: Tira Robertson and nephew: Johnny Robertson.
She is survived by her Daughter: Niayahya Simmons; Mother: Nonia Jackson; Sister: Sonya Jackson; Brothers: John Jackson, Jr. and Rahman (Danita) Jackson: Lifelong Partner: Anton Simmons, Sr.: two Step-Sons and a host of Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
Kalima will truly be missed by all of her family and friends.
