Kathleen Lowery

Kathleen C Lowery, 80, of Springfield, Ohio, departed this life on August 22, 2025, at Southbrook Nursing Home in Springfield. She was. born May 18, 2025, to Martha Jane (Cassell) Lowery and James J Lowery, Sr.

Kathleen (Noffie) was a member of Trinity AME Church, where she sang with the Gospel Choir for years. She graduated from Springfield High School and went on to earn her certificate for cosmetology. Her greatest love was babysitting her nephews, nieces, and great-nephews and nieces, including Erica, Shawna, Jeffery, and Jocelyn Lollis, Shaniqua (Ward) Murdock, Ricardo, Calvin, and Raphael Stewart, as well as Antone Youngblood, and many other kids in the neighborhood.

She is preceded in death by both parents, a brother, James (Tim) Lowery, Jr, a sister, Ethel (Lowery) Lollis, special aunts Catherine (Tad) Bradford and Ruth Stone, who were instrumental in her upbringing, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Kathleen leaves to cherish her precious memories of four nephews: Eric (Amy) Lollis, Jeffrey (Michelle) Lollis, Sean (Julia) Lollis, Robyn Lollis, one niece, Akia Gatewood, and a special cousin, Elizabeth Tucker, great nephews and nieces, great grand nieces, nephews, and friends.

Aunt Noff also left her 2 “babies” to the care of her great-grandnieces, Noella Horsley and Nova Ridout.
