Kathy Ann Garrett

Kathy Ann Garrett departed this life on July 11, 2026 to be with the Lord.

Kathy was born on October 12, 1956, in Columbus Ohio, to the late Arthur James Garrett and Mattie Julia Garrett. She attended East High School from 1971-1975 (GO TIGERS).

Kathy has lived many places just to mention a few: Middletown and Toledo Ohio, Los Angeles and San Diego California. Kathy decided 35 years ago to move back to her hometown to raise her children. Kathy was a avid Buckeye fan. During football season you could find her screaming in front of the television. Kathy enjoyed traveling some of her highlights were visiting her niece Annette in Florida and visiting her nephew Marcus and niece Christina in California. She went on her first cruise for her 60th birthday and went on her dream trip to Hawaii with her daughter's on her 65th birthday. Kathy was a faithful member of Unity Christian Fellowship Church where she served on the Mother's board and recently became a greeter.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents: Arthur James Garrett and Mattie Julia Garrett;hHer brothers: Anthony Julius Carter, Lloyd Howard Carter, and Philip Irvin Carter; brother-in-law: Edward (Ted) Lewis; sisters-in-law: Sandra Easter Carter and Pamela Sue Carter.

She leaves to cherish her memories her Brother: Arthur James Garrett Jr. (Deborah/Debbie); her Sister: Phyllis Maureen Lewis; Bonus Sister: Hazel Carolyn Kerr; her Daughters: Kelly White (Charles/Chuck) and Tasha Garrett; Her Grandchildren: Tajhae Summers (Andrew) Tierra Garrett (Asan); her Bonus Grandchildren: LiDeah White, Alina White, Prince Charles White, Rosa Argudin and Manuel Argudin; her Great-Grandchildren: Paris Dean, Amya Summers, Zavier Crego, Elias Crego, and Asai Summers and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends.

Kathy will be truly missed by so many.
