Kenneth Lewis Craddock

January 30, 1944 — July 1, 2025

Kenneth L. Craddock was born on January 30th, 1944, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, John L. Craddock, and his mother, Novella D. Craddock (Noble).

After completing grade school, he graduated from Samuel Ach Jr. High and Hughes High School, where he played in the marching band. He enlisted in the Navy after graduating and received an honorable discharge after four years.

Kenny attended and was baptized at St. Luke Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Kenny settled in Virginia and retired from a Pentagon Associate Business. Upon retiring, he came to Columbus to help his sister take care of their mother, who was up in age, but praise the Lord, she was healthy and enjoyed playing Scramble.

Kenneth liked playing Scramble as well and was a very good Chess player. He loved music, especially “Oldies But Goodies” and Spirituals. He, like his older sister, loved to dance and even taught dance lessons at Far East Recreation Center for a short time. He was also a “die-hard” Bengals fan.

Kenny’s favorite scripture was Luke 6>31. He kept in his wallet a small card with the 10 commandments as a reminder to himself and to share with others. He was a member of Mt Olivett Baptist Church for several years. He later became a member of Christ Memorial Baptist Church and maintained his membership in good standing.

Kenny leaves us behind to love, remember, and smile, his sister, Jackie C. Moncrief; nephews, David (Loretta) Craddock and Orlando; niece, Vanessa (Larry) Jones, and a host of Cousins Great Nieces and nephews, friends along with his Good Friend Walt Zuland and his special cousin like a brother Grego

Everyone who knew Kenny either loved or liked him, or both.

“ If you desire to live a blessed, good life, then learn, follow, and keep God’s commandments. …See Exodus 20:1-17
