He embraced his membership in the Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church, where he actively served in various capacities, including the Men of Vision, Male Chorus, and Senior Usher Board. His commitment and devotion to his church and community were unwavering.

In addition to his countless contributions to Triedstone, Kenzie had a deep love for his family. Kenzie, a loving grandfather, took immense pride in his ten grandchildren and created countless memories with them. He was not only a great Domino and Biz Wiz player but also a skilled chess player, passing on his acquired wisdom to his children and grandchildren.

After retiring from his position as a transporter at Port A Clean, Kenzie continued his employment at The Marlan Gary Funeral Home, The Chapel of Peace, serving as a funeral attendant. His gentle presence and compassionate nature brought comfort to grieving families during their most difficult times.
