Kimberly Nicole Livingston

Kimberly Nicole Livingston was born on Mother’s Day, May 9, 1987, to American and Brian Livingston in Columbus, Ohio. She was the youngest of three children. Kimberly graduated from North Educational Center (high school) in 2005. She earned an associate degree from the Bradford School in Applied Business and Paralegal and a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University in Criminal Justice. Kimberly also completed a ministry course at Rhema Christian Center. Kimberly was employed at the Franklin County Department of Human Services as a Caseworker.

Kimberly was ambitious, determined, confident and outgoing. She loved cooking and was into healthy eating. Kim loved kids and always had kids around at home. She had been fighting a certain illness since the age of fourteen.

Kim leaves behind a son, Alex Allen Alexander, 12. She loved him with her whole heart, and she was his entire world. She would want those she leaves behind to try to fill his life with love, security and guidance that she would have imparted if she had more time.

Although we will mourn the absence she leaves in our lives, Kim’s faith was her guiding light. She was adamant that God makes no mistakes because He has a plan for us all. To all those who love her, she would want us all to find comfort and healing in God’s plan. Kimberly felt her life’s mission was to serve Christ.

Kimberly went to be with the Lord at the age of 38 on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at her residence in Columbus, Ohio. She is survived by her Mother: American Livingston; Father: Brian A. Livingston, Sr.; Sister: Alisha Hopkins; Brother: Brian A. Livingston, Jr.; Former sister-in-law: Rochelle Poeppelmeyer; Nephews: Donavan Livingston, Greyson Livingston and Jackson Livingston; Aunts: Queen Hopkins, Ruby Hopkins, Debbie Coleman, Evelyn Hopkins, Theresa Hopkins, Carolyn Grier; Uncles: Earl (Wonda) Hopkins, Vinster Hopkins, Aaron Livingston, Jr, Phillip Livingston, Charles Hopkins and William Hopkins; Cousins: Johnny (Elain) Byrd, Frazier Byrd Hopkins, Jr, Marty (Keith) Kendricks, Miguel Neil, Natasha Neil, Stacey Hopkins Hughes, Malik Hopkins, Nadiyah Hopkins, Navae Hopkins-Reynolds and many other relatives and friends.

Kimberly is preceded in death by Grandfather: Ned Hopkins; Grandmother: Annie Hopkins; Grandfather: Aaron Livingston Sr; Grandmother: Lucinda Livingston; Aunt: Evengline “Susie” Hopkins; Uncles: Frazier (Gloria) Hopkins and Quincey B. Hopkins.
