Lakeishila Markice Frazier-Cherry, affectionately known as “Poo,” was born on October 10, 1980, in Columbus, Ohio, and peacefully transitioned on August 20, 2025, to be reunited with her beloved mother, Aleisa Frazier, and Grandmother, Ella Mae Frazier-Buford.
Poo was preceded by her mother, Alesia Frazier, and Father Earl Isaac Smith. She leaves behind a loving Husband, Darius Cherry, Daughter Nadasha Frazier, Grandson Malahki, Two Brothers, Sephan Frazier ( Myesha) and Robert (Harmony) “Kelley” Devlin, and her Sister Trenet Minor. Aunts: Kay, Caren, Rhonda (Uncle: Joe Day), Sonja, Uncles: Andre (Aunt: Cynthia Denice), Milton, and Keith. She also leaves a host of loving cousins, nieces & nephews, friends, and extended family, which she cherished in her heart.
Poo had the kindest heart and an infectious smile that lit up every room she entered. She devoted her life to caring for others, working first as a caregiver for the elderly and later continuing her service by supporting and caring for disabled residents. Her compassion and love for people left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Family was at the center of her world. She cherished every moment spent with her devoted husband, Darius, her daughter Nadasha, and precious new grandson, Malakhi, and her entire family. Her favorite joys included traveling with her husband and daughter, sending memes daily, tending to her plants, painting, watching movies, relaxing by the pool, and, of course, playing video games on her phone.
Poo’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones. Her legacy of love, beauty, laughter, and kindness will never be forgotten.
