Laurie Ann Davis was born on July 21, 1961, to Jacqueline Mack Graves and Homer Russell in Cincinnati, OH. She departed from us on October 14, 2025.
Laurie graduated from Brookhaven High School; she attended college and earned her associate's degree in billing and coding. Laurie worked at OSU Hospital doing billing and coding for 15 years. Then Laurie began owning three different businesses; she also worked as a janitor and custodian. Laurie was a hardworking woman who worked tirelessly until six months before her death.
Laurie was preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline Mack Graves; her four brothers, Robert Andrew Davis, John Antonio Davis Sr., Anthony (Boobie) Reginald Graves, and Roger Edward Graves Jr. (Snook); nieces/daughters, Shennell Mallory and Christina Mallory; great-niece, Kamiya Preyor; cousin/brother, Bruce Anthony Davis.
Laurie is survived by her loving father, Roger Graves Sr., little sister, Jennell Antoinette Graves; her children, Son Carl Alexander Davis and Daughter Jacqueline Alexandrea Newman; adopted children Guy Kelley and Stephany Lockett; grandchildren MarKayla Stanley and Jamiyah Turns; adopted grandchildren Latara, Latyra, Tamara, and great-grandchildren JuJu and Jaylonnie Curtis; great-nieces and nephews, Aniyah, Dajon, Juicie, Shamiya, Marios Jr., Zamariah, Amari, Zamarr, and Kamarr. Nieces/daughters, Sherrell and Annette; cousins/brothers Marty, Michael, Greg, Tim, Charles, and Papa; cousin/sisters Totsi, Theresa Morris, Missy, and Dee Dee; sister-in-laws Tracy, Natalie, Tish, and Kim. Nieces, Carolyn and Jasmine; nephews Lil John, Lil Robert, Preston, and little cousins/nieces Mahogany, Markiesha, and Marquita, along with great-nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, and aunts.
Laurie Ann Davis's legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
