Leandrea “Lynn” Lynette Stephens, age 60, transitioned to her new life peacefully on November 2, 2025. Born on May 7, 1965, she was the beloved daughter of Carolyn W. Reese and the late Tommie Stephens SR. Lynn is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Douglas and Eulah Saunders, her Paternal grandparents, John and Wylene Stephens, her beloved uncles, William Cary Ridout SR, Douglas Lee Saunders Jr, beloved Aunts, Phyllis Stephens and Ruby Reynolds and her only beloved son Master Terrez Stephens.

She leaves to cherish her memory: Her mother, Carolyn W. Reese, Daughter Whitney Douglas, Brother Tommie Stephens II, Sister Michilyn (Mimi) Douthitt, Grandchildren: Mycal Stephens (Ky’ile), Christopher Weston, Skylar Douglas and great grandbaby Kiomi; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and several extended family members, very dear friend Mark Peck as well as several close friends.

Lynn was known for her very assertive personality, she was not only full of wisdom but believed in telling it like it was. She cherished and loved her family. She never met a stranger and had the exceptional ability to bring joy and laughter wherever she went. Lynn mastered the gift of making people feel special. She was always dependable and willing to help. She would give her last. Lynn had the exceptional ability to lift the spirits of anyone in her presence.

Leandrea “Lynn” accepted Christ at an early age under the direction of the late overseer Charlotte E. Gore and her great grandmother the late Nannie P. Gore Lawson at the Saint James Pentecostal Baptized church. She attended Beery Jr High and graduated from Marion Franklin High School in 1983. Lynn later attended Wilberforce and Franklin University where she studied Business Management and Court Stenography.

Seeking a fresh start and a new beginning, Lynn moved to Georgia, where she landed a managerial position as a lead Insurance agent. During her working years, she was known for her strong leadership skills and incredibly determined work ethic. In time, Lynn returned to Ohio where she reunited with immediate family that needed her help. Therefore, she decided to pursue her love for children and started her own in-home daycare.

Leandrea was faithful. She was a daughter. She was a sister. She was a mother and grandmother. She was an aunt. She was a cousin. She was a niece. She was a friend. Above all, LYNN was a woman that meant everything to this family a woman who will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.
