Letitia Ann Haag

Letitia Ann Haag was born on February 27, 1960, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Herbert and Pernilla Mae Coleman. She attended Mohawk Junior-Senior High School, where she received her diploma on June 6, 1978. Letitia was a proud member of Mohawk's final graduate senior class.

Following high school, Letitia continued her education at Columbus Technical Institute (CTI), where she earned an associate degree in Criminology in August 1984.

Letitia worked for The Ohio State University for many years until her retirement. During her time at Ohio State, she met her loving husband, John, whom she affectionately called "Honey Bun." Their relationship became a cherished part of her life and journey.

As a child, Letitia was raised at Metropolitan Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Robert A. Meyers. During her time there, she was a Guild Girl and sang in the Young Adult Choir. In her later years, she joined Exodus Fellowship Church under the leadership of Rev. Curtis Calloway. At the time of her passing, Letitia was a member of Northwest Church of the Nazarene under the leadership of Pastor Sam Samoes. There, she found a loving and supportive church community that surrounded her with care, encouragement, and prayer, especially throughout her illness.

Letitia was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Pernilla Mae Coleman; her sisters, Wanda Johnson, Mary Tolliver, and Arie Perkins; her brothers, Leon, Ralph, Shedrick Miles, and Roderick Coleman; her maternal and paternal grandparents; one uncle; four aunts; her best friend, Sheila Smith; and her beloved pets, Little One and Tinker Bell.

Letitia leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, John R. Haag; her beloved dogs, Rolo and Biscuit; her brothers-in-law, Charles (Becky) Haag and Mark Haag; her sister-in-law, Mary A. Border; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great- nephews.

Letitia will be remembered for the love she shared, the relationships she treasured, and the lasting memories she leaves with all who knew and loved her.
