Lorenzio “Sean” Galloway, Jr., went home on April 12, 2025, at the age of 14. Sean was born on June 2, 2010, to Lorenzio “Sean” Galloway, Sr., and Deann Lashell Bridges. From a young age, Sean displayed a spirited joy and a generous heart that touched everyone he met.
As one of the youngest in a close-knit family of ten siblings, Sean held a deep appreciation for his family. His enthusiasm for sports began early, and he excelled as a quarterback in Little League football, proudly representing the Rams and the Outlaws. His favorite college football team was The Ohio State Buckeyes, and his favorite NFL team was The Kansas City Chiefs. Off the field, Sean was an honor roll student at South Scioto Performance Academy and loved cooking. Sean was Native American (through his paternal grandmother) and was a proud member of the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska. Sean enjoyed attending the tribe’s annual Hede’ wachi (Pow Wow) and spending time on the reservation with his family.
Sean is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lorenzo “Pops” Galloway, Sr., Ernestine “Gan Gan” Galloway, and Birdie Mae Lott. He is survived by his grandparents, Phyllis Ebbert (Jonah Wilson), William Howard Thompson Bridges Sr. (Charlotte Bridges), and Veronica Freeman (Johnny Long), as well as his loving parents, Deann Lashell Bridges and Lorenzio “Sean” Galloway Sr. (Stefphanie Galloway).
He leaves behind his cherished siblings: LeSeana Galloway, Lorenzio Bridges, Joshua Galloway, Heaven Bridges, Amoni Galloway, Trannise Bridges, A’Janae Galloway, London Labarrie, and Josiah Price, along with his special “Brother/Cousin,” Dennis “DJ” Galloway, and his “Twin Cousin,” Jeremiah Smith. Additionally, Sean is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, along with an extended family of cousins, uncles, aunts, teammates, and classmates who will forever miss and love him dearly.
Sean's vibrant spirit and kind heart will always be remembered.
