Lucy Clarissa James, age 89 Sunrise February 16, 1928 Sunset May 17, 2017.

A devoted and dedicated member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church for over 40 years where she served as a Deaconess.

Preceded in death by husband, Zebie D. James; sisters, Elizabeth Campbell, Rebecca Hairston, Mary Willis, Martha Nash, Hattie Pearl Hailey, Tina Rubena LaBon.

Left to cherish her memory her sons, Terrance R. (Cassandra B.) James, Michael (Dineen A.) James; daughters, Brenda M. Brooks, Catherine (James) Harden, Katie James; sister, Kay Francis Jackson; close friend, Bertha Doughty; 11 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and and friends.

Visitation 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 1775 W. Broad Street. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
