Maggie Bulah

April 1, 1948 — January 6, 2026

Maggie White-Bulah was born on April 1, 1948, to Cornelius Solo White and Mary “Mae” Louise (Macintosh) White in Uniontown, Alabama.

In the mid-1960s, Maggie moved to Guam to pursue her passion for food service, beginning a distinguished career with AAFES in service to the United States military. She started in an entry-level position and advanced through the ranks over the course of her career, ultimately retiring at a GS-12 level—equivalent to a senior military officer—reflecting her leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence.

Maggie’s career and love for travel allowed her to live and work in several countries, including Italy, Japan, Germany, and Guam. While stationed in Germany, her exceptional culinary skills and service earned special recognition, including a restaurant named in her honor, and high praise for Maggie’s Omelets, celebrating her talent and impact.

Maggie was known by her family as full of life, proud, and deeply accomplished. She carried herself with confidence and left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered, both personally and professionally.

Maggie White-Bulah passed away on January 6, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius Solo White and Mary “Mae” Louise (Macintosh) White; her brothers, Cornelius “Boa” White and Calvin White; brother-in-law Issac Bullock; and her grandparents, Tom White, Maggie White, Calvin Macintosh, and Levin Macintosh.
