Mark Edward Shank

Mark E Shank was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Reynoldsburg High School and attended The Ohio State University. Win, lose, or draw, he was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan! Mark knew no strangers. He always greeted people with a smile, a kind word, and some type of funny joke/saying.

He was a faithful member of Mt Zion missionary Baptist Church. He served as Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, and Teacher. Mark LOVED teaching God‘s word! He worked as head custodian for Columbus City Schools.

He is proceeded in death by his father: Robert W Shank.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his devoted and loving mother, JacQueline Shank; siblings: Lori (Philip) Fisher, Tamara (Earl) Harris, Lance (Nichole) Humphrey, Shelby (Ralph) Dowdy, Taryn Shank. Special friend: Teresa Hines. Along with his “three angel nieces “: Ashley, Alexa, Aubrey, and great-niece and nephew. Mark was loved by a lot of cousins, “adopted“ nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves memories no one can steal. We all love you, Mark, and as you told us…. You will see us on the brighter side…….
