Marquia J’ Nea Taylor was born May 23, 1985, in Columbus, Ohio to Mark Taylor and Catherine (Taylor) Clemonts. At an early age, Marquia embraced the love of life and its treasures. One of these treasures was the thrill of being born a “Buckeye.” Marquia displayed “Buckeye Pride” no matter where she traveled; she would dress in Buckeye gear on game day.
Upon completion of high school, Marquia continued and completed her education as a health care technician. Marquia's pursuit of education would later lead her to Franklin University and Columbus State. Marquia lived life to the fullest. She will forever reside in our hearts. Her rich love of music and her unique embellishment of emoji symbols will be put on pause.
Marquia was preceded in death by her brother, Sean Michael, and uncles Nelson Sivo Taylor and Nelson Taylor.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Catherine (Taylor) Clemonts; father, Mark (Donna Glanton) Taylor; grandmothers, Sylvia (Ronner) Byers and Barbra (Taylor) Lucas; brothers, Steven Outley and Miles Saunders; sisters, Whitney Saunders and Christina Saunders; Austin Gibbs; aunts Sharon (Taylor) Sellers, Tina Taylor, Robyn (Taylor), Cathy Stevenson, Betty Bias, Martha W. Dye, and Sadie (Craven) McCoy; uncles Tony Lucas, Michael Lucas, and Dejuan Taylor; special friend Michael Vann; and a host of family and friends.
