Martrell Jerome Miles passed away Sunday July 26, 2026 at the age of 45. Martrell was born on November 17, 1980 in San Diego, California to Martha Ann Kellem and Larry Miles. Martrell moved to Columbus, Ohio with his parents Martha Ann and Ronald Kellem in 1994.
Martrell will be remembered for his funny personality, his off key singing, his on the spot fashion shows in his mother's kitchen and his famous BBQ sauce. He was crowned as his mother's official taste tester for her many dishes, especially her no bake cheese cake.
Martrell was a jack of all trades, he could fix just about anything especially cars. Martrell also picked up photography where he would take pictures at local clubs around the Columbus, Ohio area.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother's; Emma Barksdale, Annie Holt, and Dorothy Cherry, his grandfather Gordon Barksdale and David Holt, his Uncle's Foster Henderson and Donnell Henderson and his best friends Charles Newton and Tion McGowan.
He is survived by his mother and father Ronald and Martha Ann Kellem, children; son's Prince Galloway-Miles, Marlyn Oz-Addai Miles, and Ien Lewis, daughter's Princess Galloway-Miles and Chamari Chloe-Judah Miles. Sibling's; sister; Michelle M. Gills, brother Ronald Kellem II. His special friend Shadell Lewis.
Uncle's Terry Barksdale (San Diego, CA); Fred Holt, Derrick Kellem, Raymond Cherry, Richard Cherry; Aunts Dorothy Jones (Dot), Dorothy (Maurice) Mitchell, Joeanne Cherry, Amanda (Paul) Payne, his 2 grandchildren, his favorite neice Mikayla Al-Damen, host of nieces and nephews and cousins. Godmother; Margo Sanders (San Diego, CA) and close friends all of Columbus, OH.
