Was born August 2, 1944 in Newark, Ohio to the late William and Lena McDowell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Sara “Sally” Searles and Diane Crawford and brothers Tommy Brewer, William “ Billy” McDowell Jr., and Dana McDowell.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband John Howze, Jr., sister Janet Beighley of West Virginia, niece Felicia Crawford, nephew Lorenzo (Shareda) Crawford of Columbus and a host of other relatives and many friends
