McKater was preceded in death by his father Atwood Lee and sister Bonnie Jones. Left to cherish his memory, wife Catherine Lee, mother Rennie Lee, daughters Tonya Lee, Sonja Lee, Shawna (Paul)Lee-Bailey, brothers Carlton Lee, sisters Janelle Pitts, Cynthia Dodson, and Ruth (Frankie) Chocolate, stepchildren Willie (Terri)Franklin, Dwight Franklin, Keon Franklin, Vanessa (Shawn) McNeil, and William Britton Jr., 20 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a host of other family and friends.
