Melanie Rose Barrett Cox

Melanie Rose Barrett Cox departed leaving a legacy of love, honor family and various cherished memories.

Born of November 30, 1958. in Columbus Ohio. She was the daughter of Delmos Barrett and Eugene Barrett proud sister of five.

She was a beautiful bright loving soul with an impressionable personality and attitude. Adores and loves her entire family. She was a woman of complicated lawyers which has beauty all the way through. A loving mother who loves and respects her husband, which left a long-lasting memory on everyone she met. She may have departed from earth but the prayers she prayed are everlasting. She will be forever missed and greatly loved.

She was processed in death by her mother: Delmos Barrett; father: Eugene Barrett; brothers: William R. Evans and Eugene Butch Barrett; sister: Billy Kelly; nephews: Juan Kelly and Derrick Lewis and grandson: Jamarion Broom-Cox.

Melanie's memory will be forever cherished by her Husband: Robert Cox; Daughter: Daja Cox (Marquez) and children Terri Cox and Rokisha Baker; Son: Robert Cox II and children; Sisters: Carla Goddard, Kimberly Barrett and Saundra Hunter; Brother: Daylan Barrett (Paula Barrett) a host of grandchildren, great-grands nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Melanie will forever be missed by those who loved her.
