Mitchell Lavon Harris, Sr., 54, was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 22, 1970. Mitch entered into eternal rest on March 21, 2025. He was born to Mitchell Levon Anderson and Delores Jean Harris Anderson.
Mitch, aka Lil' Mike, grew up on the city's Near Eastside. Mitch was a product of CCS, including Walnut Ridge High School.
In the early 90s, Mitchell accepted Christ and was baptized at the Original Glorious Church of God. Mitchell knew at a young age that he wanted to be his own boss after working a 9-5 as the manager at Snapps. He knew it would take hard work, dedication, and sacrifices to succeed. Under the leadership and mentorship of John Radney, Mitch's love of the automotive industry grew strong, starting at Golden Rod as a parts runner.
Through all the obstacles and hardships, he prevailed. Mitchell fulfilled his dream of entrepreneurship. He dominated the Eastside of Columbus with Mitch's Complete Collision Center, which opened in 2000, and on the North Side with Mitch's 2 Bar and Grill, which opened in 2005. Such dedication earned him a renowned reputation throughout Columbus as an exceptional businessman. After a long hiatus, he was ready to take over the scene once again with the opening of Mitch's Body Shop scheduled to open days after his unexpected passing.
Mitchell loved gardening and was the envy of his neighbors. He was a kind, loving person. Mitch was always willing to lend a helping hand; whether it was family, friends, or neighbors, Mitch was your go-to person. Mitch loved Sunday football, especially the Dallas Cowboys; if on he stopped everything to watch his beloved Cowboys play!! Mitch was very committed to working towards a healthier lifestyle. He worked out at the Jewish Family Center faithfully.
