Mitchell Glenn Jacobs

October 31, 1969 — September 1, 2025

In loving memory of Mitchell Glenn Jacobs, whose life journey began on October 31, 1969, in Columbus, Ohio. Born to John Jacobs and Betty Jo Washington, Mitchell embraced life with a generous spirit and a remarkable talent for working with his hands. He learned his craft through experience, becoming skilled in various trades, and was known for his exceptional ability to help others, whether family, friends, or community members in need.

Mitchell cherished the moments spent with his family and friends. His passion for playing pool often brought joy and laughter to gatherings, where his competitive spirit shone brightly. He also lent his talents to his mother-in-law, contributing to many catering events with unwavering support and professionalism. As a devoted father to his son, DeQuan, and his daughter, he took an active role in his children’s lives, especially on the football field, where he proudly participated as a hands-on dad. His love extended to his three grandsons, who fondly knew him as "Papa."

Tragically, on September 1, 2025, Mitchell's life was cut short in a motorcycle accident, leaving a profound void in the hearts of those who loved him. Until his passing, he dedicated over a decade of service at MID OHIO Contracting Service, where his commitment and work ethic were unmatched.

Mitchell’s warmth, kindness, and laughter will forever echo in the memories of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Those who preceded him in death include his mother Betty Jo Washington, father John Jacobs, brothers Bennie Jacobs, Lee Jacobs, John Will Jacobs, sisters, Annie Ruth Cox, La’Verne Jacobs.
