Leon E. Chisolm was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on November 3, 1936. He went to Parker High School in Alabama. He was a member of the Military and was an Air Force Police Officer. He was at Lockbourne Airfoce, and he also knew karate & judo. He had a dog named Malfunction. He was a great pool player and bowler. He also played baseball and was a coach for the Linden Eagles. He literally taught my sister and I how to shoot pool. When we were children, he made sure that we could change clothes at any time of the day. No matter what, we were always dressed and clean and he kept my mom, Luis Chisolm, in the best of clothes.
He leaves behind four children, Gerald Chisolm, Tanya Chisolm, Desiree Chisolm and Valerie Chisolm; four grandchildren, Nickel Chisolm, Bille Burroughs Jr., Shammikka Chisolm and Preston Chisolm, five great grandchildren; Janiya Singleton, J’Teon Walker, Bently Burroughs, Kayton Chisolm and Parker Chisolm, several nephews, nieces, and a great amount of friends and family.
