With great sadness, the family of Queen Esther Davis announces the transition from this life on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. She rejoins her parents, William and Willie Mae Brown, and siblings, Barbara Boone, Darlene Brown, Mildred Hughes, Virginia Shepard, Dorothy Williams, Eddie, John, and Joseph Weatherspoon.
Born in Mansfield, OH, on January 24, 1951, Queen Esther seized every minute with the understanding that if God gives you breath every day, He’s done his job. It’s up to you to handle the rest no matter what comes your way. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, interior decorating and creating special memories with loved ones. Dedicated to providing medical support and exceptional care to countless patients, Queen Esther devoted over 30 years to Winchester Nursing Home and Northeast Professional Caregivers as a health aide.
Queen Esther’s cherished legacy continues in the lives of her beloved husband, Clayton Davis; her two heartbeats, Fitzgerald Brown and Antonio Reuer; and the loves of her life, grandchildren, Landa Bates, Whitney (Brad) Bond, Michael Brown, Ameer and Antonio Culliver, and Alicia and Amber Greathouse.
Embodying the essence of her name, Queen Esther was the epitome of leadership, resilience and strength. She was a star able to lighten up the atmosphere in any setting. Never meeting a stranger, her jovial spirit and smile live within the hearts of her family, friends, and community.
