Norman Strong Jr., who departed this life on April 8, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on December 12, 1964, in Columbus, Ohio, Norman was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend; leaving behind cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of many.
Norman was a proud alumnus of Whetstone High School and continued his education at Wilberforce College, where he took college courses, ultimately furthering his studies at Columbus State Community College. He honorably served in the United States Navy, rising to the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class before receiving an honorable discharge. Norman's dedication to service, education, and personal growth exemplified his commitment to bettering himself and those around him.
An individual of diverse interests, Norman enjoyed playing the guitar, riding motorcycles, exploring astronomy, and capturing life's moments on video. His gentle heart and spirit endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Norman was preceded in death by his mother: Sherry Corbett.
He is survived by his loving Father: Norman Strong; his devoted Brothers and Sisters: Elizabeth Hill, Gwendolyn Martin, Norma Strong, Frederick Craddolph, Gayland Strong, Worthington Dennis, Garriet Dennis, Matin Amir Strong, and Sultan Rahim Strong .
He will be deeply missed by his family and a host of Nieces and Nephews who held him in high regard.
