Patricia A. Cochran, 88, of Columbus, OH, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026. She was born on February 18, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Sam and Nana Witherspoon. Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Cochran, and her daughter, Nanette Nash.
Patricia was a woman of deep faith who loved God wholeheartedly. She was a devoted member of Southeast Apostolic Church, where she faithfully served by teaching Sunday school and dedicating her life to ministry and service.
She worked many years at the Sears Distribution Center from 1972 to 1993, and later at Abbott from 1999 until her retirement in 2004. Patricia was known for her strong work ethic and commitment throughout her career.
She leaves to cherish her memory; her loving Daughters: Kelley Wilson, Tracy Wilson, and Georgette Cochran-Smith; seven Grandchildren; eighteen Great-Grandchildren and ten Great-Great Grandchildren. She shared a special bond with her Grandsons: Kevon and Kash Smith, whom she lived with and loved dearly. They were truly her heart, and guardian angels, always there for her in times of need, making sure she never wanted for anything.
In her own words she often says, "I'm comfortable", even during her journey with dementia, Patricia's love and personality shined through-often bringing smiles as she playfully hid her sweets from them, sometimes believing they were the ones in charge.
Patricia will be remembered as one of the most selfless, genuine, loving, and caring individuals, with a touch of sass that made her unforgettable. Truly, God broke the mold when He made her.
Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
