Raymond Anderson

Raymond O. Anderson of Xenia went home to be with the LORD September 11, 2025.

He was born May 6, 1938 to the late James and Juanita Anderson. He graduated from Xenia East High School in 1956. He graduated from Central State in 1960. He worked for Central State for a short time in management then went on to work for several years with Dayton Public Schools in the capacity of advisor in classified personnel until he retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother James "JR". He is survived by his wife Ruth, whom he married April 22, 1961, three children: Gail (to the late Jeff Harris), Rhonda (to the late Mel Twigg), Ray Jr (Michelle), his brother R. Michael (Evelyn), sister in law (Judy) Ten grandchildren: Ta'mara (Jacque), Whitney (Tony), Rochan "Butter", Toni, Joshua (Samantha), Desmond "Tre", Demonte "Mark", Dazmon "Dazzi" (Tertius "Churchis"), Mariah, and Miguel "Miggy" and nine great-grandchildren: Joshua "Josh", Juanita "Nia", Ijaeya "Jaeya", Joseph "Joey", Imani "Mani", Kailyn "Bunny", Shenandoah, Brodhi, Leo, host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Raymond loved washing, waxing, and keeping his vehicles clean. He liked to fish, play pranks and games with and on family. Most of all, he loved to play his organ entertaining anyone who would listen..
