Richard Wyche

Richard Lawrence Wyche, known as "Ricky, Lil Shoes" to his family and close friends, was born on August 11, 1965, to Richard Lawrence Bogart and Michal Jean Wyche. On June 2, 2025, he departed this earth unexpectedly at his home.

Ricky attended Columbus Public Schools. Ricky was a loving father to Richard Lawrence Wyche Jr, known as Lil Ricky. Ricky likes shooting pool and keeping a clean vehicle. Ricky had an undeniable passion for singing with the "Mount Vernon Ave Baptist and Unity Baptist Church, male choruses. No matter Ricky's path in life, He always shared his love for God and God's love for him.

Ricky was deeply loved by all who knew him. He had a kind and generous spirit, a bright smile, and a heart full of love for his family and friends. Ricky was kindhearted and empathetic to the less fortunate people on the streets of Columbus."

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James A. and Fairabee G Johnson. His parents, Richard Lawrence Bogart and Michal Jean Wyche. Nephews, Ernest B Wyche, "known as buddy", Tevin L Wyche, "known as Bevin".

He leaves to cherish his memory: His Brothers, Keith, Kevin, James, and Timothy Wyche. Richard L Wyche Jr, (only son). And a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Ricky's light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved him. His presence, laughter, and love will never be forgotten.
