Robin Bester

Robin Annette Bester, known as "Red," passed away on April 7th,2025 at the age of 58 after a brave fight against pancreatic cancer. She was born on October 2, 1966, in Beckley, West Virginia, to George and Paula Bester. Robin attended Beechcroft High School in Columbus, Ohio, where she excelled in track & Field and earned a state championship. She worked as a Patient Care Associate at Grant Hospital for over 15 years, dedicating herself to the care and well-being of others.

She was an active member of Victorious Life Christian Center, where she served in the Victorious Life Ladies of Inspiration Women's Ministry. "VLCC"

Robin was a beautiful and vivacious woman, known for her undeniable gentleness and her ability to see the best in everything and everyone. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend always placing the needs of others before her own. Her unconditional love and unwavering support brought comfort to those around her, and her warm smile had the power to brighten anyone's day. Robin cherished the little things in life and valued every moment spent with love.

Robin was a passionate football fan, particularly dedicated to the Pittsburgh Steelers. She loved going fishing and spending time with her best friend, Tina, along with their close-knit girl group, enjoying lunches/dinners and shopping together.

She was a loving grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren.

Although her passing leaves an immense void, her legacy endures through the countless lives she impacted and the values she instilled in her children. The example she set for all of us will never be forgotten. She taught us to approach challenges with courage, to show kindness to everyone, and to cherish every single day.

She was preceded in death by her father George R. Bester, Sister Alicia G. Bester, Grandson Jharod Bester.

Robin is survived by Paula J. Bester (mother), sisters Cathy Farmer (Bester) Stephanie Bester and Denise Bester, children Paula G. Bester, Ryan Bester and Jaimecia (Thomas) Banks, grandchildren Rae Jarrett, Chase Tucker, Ty'meah Davis, Tyi'Marquis Davis, Gabriella Banks, Ariella Banks, Noah Banks. Jayveon Bester, Christopher Muhammad, Kavonteze Anderson Domineek Bester. Along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
