Elder Ronald “Ronnie” Baldridge McNabb, 88, of Columbus, Ohio, entered eternal rest on August 22, 2025. Born February 16, 1937, to Wilbur “Mac” Gee and Cona Baldridge McNabb, he dedicated his life to faith, family, and service.
A graduate of University High School, Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, and The Ohio State University, he was ordained as an Elder in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World and minister in the Church of God (Anderson, IN). He taught at several Bible colleges, helped establish Aenon Bible College in Columbus, and ministered faithfully for decades.
As President and CEO of the historic McNabb Funeral Home—one of Columbus’s first Black-owned funeral homes—he served families with compassion for many decades. He was also Presiding Judge with the Franklin County Board of Elections and held leadership roles with the Ohio Embalmers Association, Buckeye State Funeral Directors, and the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sybil T. Edwards-McNabb, and stepdaughter Tuwanda P. Sherman-Cole. He is survived by children Ronald James “Jimmie” McNabb, Sheila Mae McNabb-Tuck, Dr. Catherine Elizabeth McNabb, and Truphelia M. (Reginald) Parker; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and many relatives and friends.
