It was a good day, December 22, 1978, for parents Lenora and Kenny; Ronald was born. He was the 6th of 10 siblings. Being somewhat of a middle child, he loved making others laugh at his shenanigans. He had solid foundation in CHRIST; and thus, by his parents, he learned to love the LORD at an early age. Ronald had old school loves; one was for gospel music. A favorite was, “All is Well with My Soul” by the Wilmington Choir. He also loved old cars from the 80’s and 90’s. He maintained his 1992 Buick over 20 years. He had a natural love for working on older cars, and watching the neighborhood like grandad, Grandpa Stewart. Ron graduated from Fort Hayes High School in 1997. He was a member of the Mt. Zion COGIC Drill Team. Being a music lover, he played the organ, piano, and guitar. He enhanced his education with accounting classes.
Ronald was an electrician and bucket operator at the Commercial Lightening Company. His work family loved him too. He had a heart for people, whomever they were or whatever their status in life. If he could help a person, he did. He had the families giving heart spirit. Ronald shared quite moments with his dad; dreams about the LORD. That’s why we sing with Ronald, his song to the LORD, “It is well with my soul.” Yes, it was a good day 47 years ago, but it was better May 26, 2026. That day, Ronald received his heavenly reward. These are just few of those who will always hold Ronald’s love inside their hearts. Starting with his parents, Kenny and Lenora. Include his children, Ronald Jr. and Gabriel (Gabby). There are 9 siblings, Kenny, Kevin, Keith, Lena, Kenyonna, Jason, Lenora, Elijah and Rachel. His 38 nephews and nieces, 19 great nieces and nephews, and a countless number of unnamed family members and friends.
