Ronald Eugene White Sr, was born November 16, 1946 in Columbus, OH to John and Lula Belle White. He was the eldest of two children.
Ronnie attended and graduated from Central High School in 1966. While in school, Ronnie was an avid sports fan. He loved and played basketball, football, and ran track.
Ronnie joined the United States Army in July 1966. He fought in the Vietnam War. Upon returning from Vietnam, Ronnie worked for TWA for 31 years. During that time, he was stationed in St. Louis, MO, California, Atlanta, GA, and Columbus, OH. He played baseball for TWA until the age of 55. Ronnie loved music and sang in several church choirs. His love for music led him to DJ in Columbus, OH for several years.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lula Belle White and his daughter, Tiffany White.
Ronnie leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his wife, Annie Lois Truitt-White; sons, Ronald (Sharon) White II and Michael Lewis; grandchildren, Daria, Ronald III, Aaron, Austin, Cory Williams, Jalean Lewis, Sterling Robinson, and Braxton White; brother, John White; nieces, Michelle and Tara; special friends, Dorcus Claytor and Eugene Reynolds; special cousin, Sonja Nallie; special sister-in-law, Sylvia Sharp; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends, and Vietnam Buddies, especially, Thomas Floyd.
