Sandra Barber

Sandra Levon Barber was born in Chicago, Illinois, on Monday, August 2, 1971, to Mr. Willie and Drenda Barber. Anyone who knew Sandra knew " To know her was to love her."

Sandra loved her entire family. She didn't play! She was a God-fearing woman who stood ten toes about her loved ones. Sandra was a warrior who fought ovarian cancer for four and a half years. On May 5, 2025, at 7:45 a.m., she received her wings.

Sandra attended Whetstone High School. She worked 28 long years at The Ohio State University. Sandra was very athletic; she loved cooking, dancing, and crocheting. Her greatest passion was being there for her Grandchildren. Sandra accepted Christ at an early age. Shen devoted her spirit to "So Help Me God Church of Christ" under the leadership of the late Ms. Milddred Lindsey (the founder) and pastor Tyrone Lindsey Sr. As an usher, "Shhhh", she ensured all protocol was followed; what's understood doesn't need to be explained.

Sandra is preceded in death by Karon Barber Sr. (Son), Willie Barber Sr (Father), Willie Barber Sr (Father), Willie Barber Jr (Brother), Angelia Barber (Sister) Helen Garner, Rose Bell Barber (Grandmother), Henry Walters, James Garner Sr, Homer Barber Sr (Grandfathers), Brenda Garner, Helen Garner, Shiquita Garner, Lula Bell Barber, Lisa Barber and Rose Barber (Aunts).

Sandra Levon Barber's Memory will always be cherished by Heaven Reed ( Daughter), Joshua Reed - Barber (Son), Leandra Barber ( Daughter), Miangel, Kaeona, Kentrell, Karon Sr, Kayla' Kayden, Joslyn Barber (Grandchildren) Drenda Barber (Mother), Willie (Kveta) Barber, Zechariah Barber, Elizabeth Barber (Sister), Ora Lee Washington (Great Aunt), Lytron (Glen) Watson, Claudia Barber (Aunts), James (Ushler) Garner, Jamail Garner, Lexworth Garner, Homer Barber Jr.(Uncles), A host of nieces, host of nieces, Nephews, Cousins and life Long Friends.
