Teri Denise Stewart

Jul 15, 1966 — Jul 28, 2026

Teri was a woman with a gentle spirit, a pure soul, and a heart that seemed to have room for everyone. She loved deeply, cared selflessly, and had a way of making the people around her feel seen, supported, and loved. She was the kind of person who would make sure everyone else was taken care of, often before ever thinking of herself.

Above everything else, Teri loved her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, a treasured daughter and sister, and a friend to many. As a mother, Teri loved unconditionally. Her love was gentle, patient, accepting, and unwavering. She believed in her children, encouraged them to be exactly who they were, and gave them a foundation of love that will continue to live through them and the families they have built.

Teri also had an enormous love for animals-all of them. But anyone who knew her knew that Teri's cat Shelby was her little shadow, companion, and "road dog," always close by and very much a part of her heart and her home.

Teri had an eye for beauty and a love of fashion. She enjoyed expressing herself through her style and took pride in the things that made her uniquely her. Professionally, Teri worked in leadership and quality within the manufacturing field, where her dedication, attention to detail, and care for others were evident in her work. She also developed a passion for the study of nail technology, another reflection of her creativity and appreciation for beauty.

Throughout her journey, Teri showed extraordinary strength. She was a fighter-not because the road was easy, but because she continued to meet incredibly difficult days with courage, grace, and love. Even in her own battles, her concern for the people she loved never disappeared. That was simply who Teri was: someone with a big heart who loved fiercely, gave generously, and cared deeply.

Teri leaves behind a family who will miss her beyond what words can express. She is survived by her loving Husband: Marlin Stewart; her Children: Asia Fudge, Jasmine Fudge, Isaiah Stewart, Marquis Fudge, Josh Fudge, and Jeffrey Fudge; her Daughter- in-Law: Darrah Fudge; her Grandchildren, including Leilani Fudge and Carter Fudge, along with her many other beloved grandbabies; her Mother: Maxine Chapman; her Brothers: Marc Royal and Sean Royal; her Sisters: Hope Embry and Yvette Evans; and her many beloved aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who were blessed to know and love her.

Teri's absence leaves an immeasurable space in the lives of those who loved her. Home feels different without her. Life feels different without her. But the love she poured so freely into her family did not leave with her. It remains in the people she raised, the lives she touched, the kindness she showed, and the memories that will be carried forward.

Teri will be remembered for her beautiful heart, her gentle love, her strength, her style, her compassion, and the way she loved without conditions. Her family will miss her more than words can ever say, but they will carry her love with them always.

Her light, her love, and her beautiful spirit live on.
