Terrence Lynch, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, was born on December 7, 1960, in Columbus, Ohio, to Hugh and Eloise Lynch. Tragically, he passed away at home at the young age of 64.
Surviving him are his sister, Pamela (Curtis) Griffin, and niece, Mercedes Phillips. He is also survived by a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Hugh, and mother, Eloise.
Terry graduated from Brookhaven High School in 1979 and later attended Ohio State and Ohio Dominican University. After the passing of his beloved mother, Terry relocated to Los Angeles, California, where he became a member of Living Praise Christian Center. After spending two years in LA, he decided to move to Atlanta, Georgia, to be closer to his sister. In Atlanta, Terry was a devoted member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Marietta, Georgia, where he was actively involved in their choir.
Terry’s vibrant spirit, unforgettable persona, and joyful heart made him the life of every gathering. He was known for his warm and welcoming nature, never hesitating to greet and befriend strangers. His bond with his sister was filled with boundless love, shared jokes, and laughter.
Terry cherished his lifelong friendships with his best friends, all now deceased: Stan Shepherd, Scottie Nowell, and Raymond Wickcliffe. He also cherished his friendships with Faynel Burton, Nelson Gladden, Quan Howell, Maleah Coleman, Rick Collins, and many others. Terry’s presence was a gift, his love a blessing, and his legacy lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts!
