Terri Boyd

September 15, 1953 — May 27, 2025

Terri Marnice Boyd, a cherished pillar of faith and family, departed this earthly life suddenly on May 27, 2025, in Springfield, Ohio, the same city where her journey began 71 years ago.

Born September 15, 1953, to the late Benjamin Franklin Moore, Sr., a WWII Army Veteran, and Arnetta Boyd, a dedicated labor and delivery nurse. Terri's life was marked by an unwavering devotion to God and ministry and an extraordinary capacity for giving. Her generous spirit touched countless lives, and her infectious laughter could brighten even the darkest days

Terri received her formal education in the Columbus Public School System, where she attended Linden McKinley High School, graduating with honors in 1971. She enjoyed after-school programs and being a part of the band and color guard. Terri always had a passion for computers and technology, which led her to attend Devry University to study IT and computer programming.

As a mother, Terri poured her heart into raising her children, Ja'Mon Scott (Julianna) Boyd of Marietta, Ohio, and Ashlee Juan Boyd of Columbus, Ohio. Her love extended beyond her immediate family, creating a legacy of warmth and acceptance that embraced all who knew her.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her siblings Kevin Moore and his wife Matilde, Benjamin F. Moore Jr, and his wife Junko, Karhlton Moore, Esq., and his wife Sharon, Kamaraugh Moore Houston and her husband Mark, and Karhla Moore Glass. She also leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews, Christopher E. McNeal, Taina Moore, Ricardo Moore, Julio Moore, and Bonus niece Carmen Winkfield, along with a host of cousins, friends, and loved ones.

Terri was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Sylvia Caye Moore McNeal and Kreighten Moore, and her niece Cecilee E. McNeal.

Her sudden departure has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew her. Yet, the memory of her faith-filled life, her boundless generosity, and her joyful spirit will continue to inspire and guide those she left behind. Terri's legacy as a woman of God, a loving mother, and a faithful friend will forever remain a testament to a life well-lived.
