Timothy McDonald

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Tim, who departed
this life on April 28, 2025, at the age of 50. Though his journey through life was
marked by persistent health challenges, he never allowed those difficulties to
define him. Instead, he faced every day with resilience, humor, and a deep love for the people around him.

Known for his infectious laughter and quick wit, Tim brought light and joy to
every room he entered. He was a devoted family man whose greatest pride and
joy came from being a father, son, brother, brother-cuz, and friend. His
compassion, and unwavering love for his family left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his beloved father, Henry Lee Sapp; his cherished
son, D’Anthoni Warren, his dear nieces, Aniyah Elie and Patrice McMahan and
cousins Lisa Edwards, Pearl Jones, Kiera Harris, and Damon Waddell.
Though gone from this earth, they surely welcomed him home with open arms.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength in the hearts of his mother,
Laura Edwards; siblings, Daniel McDonald, Tammy Smith, and Kevin Viney;
best friend, Rick Newton, special cousins, Laura Cowan and Patricia Wafer,
and his children—Marquis, Myesha, Marquell, Timothy, Tyrik, Diane,
Donnell, Denzel, Sirrele, Luwauna, and Laderal—who will carry his memory
forward with pride. His presence will also be deeply missed by a host of aunts,
uncles, cousins, and dear friends whose lives he touched in countless ways.
Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit will forever live on in the
stories, laughter, and love he shared. His strength in adversity and his boundless heart will be remembered always.

A celebration of life will be held on May 8 at 10 a.m. at Marlan Gary The Chapel of
Peace, 5456 E. Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43232, where friends and family
are invited to gather in remembrance and gratitude for the beautiful soul we were privileged to know.
