Travis Hollins Sr.

Travis “Senior” Lee Hollins Sr., was born on September 17, 1974, in Columbus, Ohio. He passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at the age of 50 in the Dominican Republic while on vacation. Travis is the youngest of two children, born to Rick Lee and Debora Jean Hollins. He graduated from Gahanna Lincoln Highschool.

Travis was predeceased in death by grandparents, Clifford Clark; Jean Ellen Byrd; Reverend Kenneth Bryd; Ted Coleman; ParriJean Colman; Betty Curry; uncles, Clifford Clark II; Terry Hollins; Michael Hollins; aunt, Denise Coleman; mother-in-law, Carolyn Paige.

Travis was employed at JSI Commercial Cleaning where he worked as an Area Manager. Travis has been in the janitorial business for over 30 years. Travis was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, godfather and friend. He loved to visit the gun range, tattooing, and gaming. He was an avid collector of shoes, watches, jerseys, sunglasses and hats.

He has a love for the water, and telling jokes. He loved a good tasting tequila. He found joy in living life to the fullest. He loved spending time with wife, children and family. He provided words of encouragement and wisdom to his friends and family. He was a coach of basketball and baseball for many years. Travis was a huge fan of The Philadelphia Eagles; Ohio State Buckeyes; Orlando Magics and New York Yankees. Travis was also known for his love of music, art and home improvement projects.

Travis leaves to rejoice in his memory his loving wife Virginia of 26 years; son, Travis Lee Hollins Jr.; daughters, Ariana and Gabrielle Hollins; father, Rick Lee Hollins; mother; Debora Jean Hollins; brother, Kevin (Amber) Hollins; sisters, Rikea Williams and Ciara Pierce; uncle Jeff (Laura) Clark; Aunts, Belinda Ward, Beth Clark, and Lorie Cook; sister in law, Karen Burns; brother in love, Juwan Williams; daughter in love, Logan Killebrew; godson Ky’Noah Pleasant and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
