Tyger Keyanta Russell-Morris, 39, affectionately known as “TWO” by her mother was born June 4, 1986 to Beatrice Russell-Suber in Columbus, OH. She entered eternal rest on October 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Compassion, perseverance and an unshakable love for others best defines Tyger’s life. From a young age, Tyger’s nurturing spirit shined brightly. She was the kind of person who cared for everyone around her, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a comforting smile. As a child, she loved babysitting her younger cousins so it came as no surprise that she would later devote her life to caring for others as a nurse. Tyger found purpose and fulfillment in her calling, serving patients with kindness and dedication for the past 15 years. During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, she took her passion on the road as a travel nurse, providing healing and hope in one of the most difficult times the world had faced.
Beyond her career, family was at the center of everything Tyger did. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend whose strength and warmth anchored those around her. Tyger loved her family deeply and made every moment together feel special. Her laughter filled rooms, her joy was contagious, and her smile—ever-present, even in difficult times, was a direct reflection of her resilient spirit.
Tyger loved the simple things: tending to her plants, shopping, spending time with loved ones, traveling and working most of all. Her kindness radiated outward, touching everyone she met. Even during her courageous three-year battle with cancer, Tyger continued to put others first- caring for her children, showing up for her family, and greeting each day with grace and strength. She was a true fighter. Her legacy of love, compassion, and perseverance will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Tyger is survived by her husband, Eric Morris; her beloved children, Zorah Webb, Tyreek Morris, Grayson Russell, Lynnex Russell, Esa Morris, and Erys Morris; and her inherited children Eric Morris Jr., Jaden Howell, Erianna Morris, Ei’leonyah Morris, and Eshanti Morris. Her devoted parents, Beatrice Russell-Suber and Arthur Suber; her sisters Tessa Russell, Angie Jackson, Jannice (Alan) Rafiyq, and Stephanie Burgess; her brothers Quentin Jackson and James E. Jackson Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins that adored her.
She is preceded in death by her father, James E. Jackson Sr., and brother, Samuel L. Jackson.
Tyger’s light will never fade, it lives on in the smiles of her children, the love she gave so freely and the countless lives she saved and touched.
