TyKeisha Markia Roxanne Lanier

November 26, 1988 — March 31, 2025

With heavy hearts and deep sadness we are heartbroken to announce the passing of our outgoing, crazy, beloved Tykeisha, who was called home on March 31, 2025 at the age of 36.

Tykeisha was a well-loved wonderful daughter, sister, niece, and mother. Tykeisha was born on November 26, 1988 in Columbus, Ohio. Tykeisha was raised in Brittany Hills (BHP) and attended Mifflin High School. Tykeisha was a very bright beautiful girl. She was loved by everyone. She loved to take care of the family kids. Keish loved Church among all her accomplishments. She was multi-talented, did a lot of things. Tykeisha had one daughter, Tariyah Lanier and she also took care of her niece Jayleah Lanier. Keish was very uplifting in every way possible. She loved her family and friends. She touched a lot of lives while living in Columbus, OH. At the age of 34, Tykeisha decided to move to Charlotte, North Carolina for a new start for her and Tariyah. Keish will be remembered for her silly, goofy, and humorous personality. Especially her physical playfulness at her big grown age!

Tykeisha was survived by her mother Lawetta Lanier; her father Andrew Harris; her daughter Tariyah Lanier; her fur-daughter Angel Lee Lanier; her sisters Jayonna Lanier; Jamila Perry; Erin (Aaron) McKnight-Grayson; her godsisters Raylene Briggs and Tonisha (James) Jordan; her brothers Dante (Malissa) Lanier and Dominique Smith and her grandfather Reginal Thomas. A host of aunts, uncles, niece and nephews, and a very special friend Dominique Robinson.

Tykeisha was preceded in death by grandmother Linda Lee Lanier; great grandparents Paul Lanier Sr. and Margaret Lanier; aunts Beatrice Lanier, Rita Lanier, and Gail Lanier; uncles Robert (Burky) Berry, Paul Lanier Jr, and Michael Lanier Sr, godmom Tonia Miller; brother Delano Royster; best friend Raniesha Broomfield; and cousins Jesse (Mook) Lanier, and Deandra Lanier.
