Vanessa Jean Patrick

Vanessa Jean Patrick, age 60.  Vanessa was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 9, 1956 and passed away  May 21, 2016.  Vanessa graduated from Linden-McKinley High School in 1974 and attended Columbus State Community College.  Vanessa’s greatest joy was  her daughter, Christina.  She enjoyed traveling, reading, board and computer games, and cooking for friends and family.  A generous, sweet soul, she was beloved by neighbors and friends. She was known for Her jovial smile, her quick wit and for sharing anything she had.

She was a retired accountant with the Ohio Department of Development, Minority Business Division where she worked for 27 years.

Vanessa was preceded in death by her parents Vasco Patrick and Elizabeth Clark (Patrick) Huggins.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Christina L. Patrick McWain and longtime partner Stanley McWain and a host of other family and many friends.  Visitation 2 p.m. and Service 3 p.m., Tuesday May 31, 2016 at MARLAN J.
